The studies showed that enormous volcanoes hidden in the ocean have a significant impact on how the Earth functions... they change and form the climate. Our emotions work in a similar way... they are hidden but form our wellbeing and our reactions... they change the atmosphere and the quality of life that we all create together with our family and friends in different places around the world...

The beginning of the painting goes back to winter when the snow was still laying on the ground... thus, I was not surprised that on the final version of the painting a white flower coming out of the darkness is visible in the center of the canvas...

The first painting I created while being closest to the nature in 2017. I admired the vivid green colours of the garden that seemed to be shining in the rays of sunshine. It made me think of the underworld, both underground and undersea, as it complements the greenery and the Sun.

The painting I created by looking deep into the darkest side of myself... I laid down the whole range of colours on the ground (including shades of dark red) but... I didn’t use any of them apart from black and white...

When it’s really dark I feel total intransigence deprived of any emotions. I only feel a will, tough as nails, aimed at finding a solution... Ufff... It’s best not to experience the dark side of oneself...
